Word*Rock*& Sword: Yoga in Honor of the Autumn Equinox with Ola Ronke
Date: Sunday, September 21, 2014
Time: 9:00 AM
Venue: Fort Greene Park, 85 S Oxford St, Brooklyn, NY, 11217
Join us for a loving transformative session of yoga and meditation as we explore balance, breath, and our connection to our divine Mother Earth.
The Autumn Equinox marks the beginning of the dark, composting phase of the year and we are aligning ourselves with the natural rhythms of the planet under the bright morning sky and amongst the trees.
As we move forward we courageously ask ourselves what are our intentions and goals for this coming season. What are our hearts desires? How are we choosing to grow?
This moment in where we transition from summer into fall is the perfect time for leaning even further into the essence of who we are and shifting towards seeing ourselves as the Divine sees us, - wild free spirited light lovable beings capable of more than we could ever imagine. As mother Earth passes the baton towards cooler nights and more colorful days, let us take part in ritual that will release limited thinking, fear, and resistance.
Please wear comfy clothes, bring water and a journal for writing.
